The Great Debate: Bahnsen -vs- Stein on MP3 for 1 penny
Free (Almost) Debate on MP3.
Here is the description:
"This is the famous formal debate between Dr. Bahnsen and atheist promoter Dr. Gordon Stein held at the university of California (Irvine) in 1985. Hear how hard it is to deny God's existence and how intellectually rigorous the Christian position actually is."
Get it here.
I have a scholarly friend who tells me this is the best debate to listen to in order to learn the transcendental argument. He tells me he has listened to it 15 times.
I just downloaded it onto my ipod. I am on my first of fifteen hearings. ;-)

Still, I'd be interested in the debate. {g} Thanks for the tip, DT!

When Stein asked for an example of something that was not extended in space, Bahnsen's answer seemed to have, not only a good answer, but good timing.
Good post.

though it may not be as good quality. The printed transcript is there as well. Excellent debate.
Me too. I took a chance.

Agreed. That moment came through loud and clear on the audio. It was the "You are no Jack Kennedy" moment of the debate (for those who remember that Lloyd Bentsen one liner).
"You can get the entire debate free at ..."
Free beats a penny! Thanks for the link.
By the way, the site I referenced only allows you to hear the first 1:08 minutes of the debate (i.e. part 1).
It was just getting interesting too.
I didn't realize you have to pay for part 2. Clever move. But thanks to P.L., go get the whole debate for free.
